Unofficial Material for Dungeons & Dragons

Like many gamers, I started my gaming career at an early age by playing Dungeons & Dragons™. I've never really lost my fondness for the system through the four diferent incarnations I have seen. (Dungeons & Dragons, AD&D, AD&D 2nd Edition, and now 3rd Eddition D&D) This page contains the extra materials I have come up with for campaigns set in this vernerable system.

D&D Third Eddition

New Feats

Formation Shield Use [General]
Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +1, Shield Proficiency
Benefit: If you are using a large shield or a tower shield, you may designate one ally during your action and grant that ally a +1 shield synergy bonus to his or her armor class. That ally may only receive this benefit while standing either to your left or behind you in a square adjacent to your own. (If you wear your shield on your right arm, the restriction changes to standing to your right or behind you in an adjacent square.) This benefit is only effective against attacks coming from in front of you. This bonus stacks with any shield bonus that ally might already posess. The bonus provided by this feat increases to +2 if you are using a tower shield rather than a large shield.
Improved Formation Shield Use [General]
Prerequisites: Formation Shield Use
Benefit: When you are the beneficiary of an ally's formation shield use feat, you receive a +2 shield synergy bonus rather than the usual +1. (+3 if the ally is using a tower shield.)
Normal: You receive only a +1 shield synergy bonus from an ally with the formation shield use feat. (+2 with a tower shield)

New Prestige Classes

Note that these classes were generated with the third eddition rules in mind. They have not been updated to reflect the changes made for 3.5 eddition. For the most part they should still work under the new rules set.
