Freddy Cho has been around as long as anybody cares to remember. To local residents Freddy's bar at the edge of Big Brother Tsien's territory in Hong Kong is as much a landmark as the harbor.
Although he makes a point of never getting involved in gangland disputes and turf battles, Freddy has served alchohol to half of the Hong Kong underworld. Not much goes on in Hong Kong without Freddy Cho hearing about it. This fact has not been lost on the movers and shakers of the criminal underworld. While his carefully maintained neutrality has kept Freddy out of trouble for the most part, he's well aware of which boss controls his home neighborhood and who he needs to avoid crossing if he wants to keep his legs intact.
None of this to say that Freddy's rich knowledge of the Hong Kong underworld can't be bought for the right price. "I'm just a bar tender, but the way I heard it..."
